Don’t Let Life Pass You By

Living in the moment sounds like such a cliché, but what if? What if that moment is all we have? Seriously, how many times have you found yourself thinking it is all running its course and then, out of nowhere, comes the curveball? Or even worse, we know that whatever is happening now is finite and the clock is against us. Good or bad, it too will pass, life will change, and it will transform us.

Humans, we are interesting beings. We take things for granted, get distracted by all the noises, lose ourselves in the trivial stuff, and succumb to the seductions of what we are signaled externally to prioritize. We forget to live, to feel, to embrace, and to anchor ourselves in that which is, to just “be.”

This moment, even though it’s ironic, is truly all we have. I know, it sucks sometimes. It’s a tough realization. It is what it is! My perspective is, that if, indeed, this is what we have, then we might as well live it up!

This is not a crazy proposal. It’s just the simple notion that if we live moment by moment then we don’t have to worry that when it all passes, when it all has changed and transformed, we will have no regrets. If you live life in this moment, you will never feel like you have not felt it fully, embraced it fully and lived it fully. This in itself makes a worthwhile and brave life.

So, my advice to you is LIVE! Embrace life with all your heart, with passion, authenticity, and do all the things that make you happy! In the end, this is all we have. Cheers to a beautiful life, full of its crazy twists and turns, and being on your true path always.

To joy and inner peace and until next time,
