Sometimes we get so caught up with the world’s happenings and what goes on around us that we forget that at the source of it all is what goes on within us.

The basics of self-care are simpler than we think and maybe this is why we overlook them. We tend to get busy and carried away. We’re on automatic mode.

Let this be a call to action to bring awareness and tend to your most basic needs. From there, allow it all to flow.

Getting enough sleep and consuming foods that nourish you, aid you in staying alert and having energy for your endeavors, moving your body, and breathing deeply and fully, are all good places to start. Take the time to return to you.
