Balanced Tiger: Making Functional Mushrooms Tasty and Easy to Consume
Balanced Tiger, the mushroom-based food product company, announces their launch this August. Founded by two Vero Beach natives, Balanced Tiger launches the local brand’s first product, the adaptogenic mushroom bar.
Childhood friends raised in Vero Beach, Adriano Bordoli and Jackson Gorman put their business strengths and entrepreneurial minds together and discovered an untapped market of mushroom based products. Of this, Balanced Tiger was born.

The term “adaptogenic mushroom” comes with its misconceptions. Many hear mushrooms and think of the trippy fungi that cause hallucinations, but that’s not where this is going. Functional mushrooms, like Chaga, Cordyceps, and Lion’s Mane, are those that provide health benefits beyond their nutritional content. For hundreds of years, these ancient superfoods have been used in eastern medicine, working through unique polysaccharides (beta glucans), antioxidants, and vitamin D to balance your energy levels and immune system, manage stress, and ultimately bring your body back to homeostasis.
Are mushrooms the future of wellness? Despite the growth, the Balanced Tiger team believes the mushroom market is also held back in the health and wellness product industry by taste and accessibility. The addition of mushrooms to more familiar consumer products, beyond the current market of capsules and powders, is expected to accelerate the consumer movement.
